Sally is originally from the UK and is married to Doug, an Australian. She has had an international career: from 1985-1987 as a nurse/midwife in a Cambodian refugee camp in Thailand, and from 1987-2007 in Cambodia in community development work with World Vision. Later, Sally established an NGO using the creative arts to assist people with disabilities. In 2007 Sally and her family moved to Adelaide, SA. She has a post grad dip in Creative Writing, Masters of Education, Masters of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry. Her focus has been on ecotheology, designing and running workshops to assist Christians to connect their faith with creation care. She has taught improvisational drama at Raukkan Aboriginal school, Meningie, SA and drumming classes to people with physical and mental disability. She coordinates A Rocha activities in SA.
Sally is a founding member of the Board of Directors of A Rocha Australia and is serving her third term.
