A Rocha Australia Inc has set up a new legal entity called A Rocha Australia Environmental Projects Ltd.
This includes a new Deductible Gift Recipient Gift Fund for environmental and conservation work in
Australia.
Donations to this fund are tax deductible. Donations can include money or property to be used for
environmental purposes of protecting and restoring ecosystems in Australia. The opportunity to receive
tax deductible donations boosts our fundraising capacity, and is welcome recognition by the Australian
Government of our growing role in the nature conservation sector in Australia.
The new fund comes at an important time for A Rocha Australia, and Creation care efforts in Australia
more broadly. It marks another step in growing the organisation and commitment to deepen and expand
our projects, partnerships and impacts in nature conservation.
For the last nine years A Rocha Australia has been engaging with a growing number of people and
organisations across Australia. We have expanded the range of activities we undertake as a
demonstration of care for God’s Creation and our discipleship in Christ.
With additional funding we will be able to expand our current environmental projects in revegetating
degraded habitats and managing land for conservation, providing education about environmental issues,
and monitoring biodiversity. We will continue to do this with our members and supporters, and a wide
range of partner organisations including churches, Christian schools, private conservation organisations
and charities, Bible colleges, Councils, university researchers, and government agencies.
We ask for your help to raise the funds needed to enhance the impact of our projects.
