Tahlee project taking place!
A Rocha Australia is pleased to announce that Tahlee Centre for Creation Care (TCCC) has been formally accepted as the first A Rocha Australia Associated Project.
The Creation Care project at Tahlee will involve baseline biodiversity studies, bush regeneration and other conservation activities, environmental education activities and tending of the organic garden on-site. For more information visit the Tahlee project page.
One of the biodiversity baselines to be established will be a Bird Survey Plan. Anecdotal records to date has 128 bird species including a number listed under threatened species legislation, such as Bush Stone-curlew, Beach Stone-curlew, Australian Pied Oystercatcher, Sooty Oystercatcher, Glossy Black-Cockatoo, and Eastern Osprey.
